Experience the wonder and glory of the Greatest Story Ever Told – The Passion Play in Summerville, SC! The Passion Play brings to life the thrilling, epic drama surrounding Christ’s last days on earth, His death, and His resurrection. Accurately based on the Old Testament prophecies and New Testament accounts of Christ’s life, The Passion Play portrays the significant events in Jesus’ life here on earth, His ascension and His coming again. The Passion Play features state-of-the-art sound and lighting effects as well as heartfelt music in a dramatic two-hour presentation of the last days in the incarnation of Jesus of Nazareth. Throughout the years over 65,000 people have witnessed this drama completely presented by the members of Old Fort Baptist Church. For free tickets, call or come by the church office after March 12.


Directions: Old Fort Baptist Church is located at 10505 Dorchester Road, approximately one mile east of the intersection of Bacon’s Bridge Road (Highway 165) and Dorchester Road (Highway 642).
  • From West Ashley: Take Highway 61 and bear off on Highway 165 toward Summerville. Turn right at the first light on Dorchester Road (Highway 642) and the church is approximately one mile on the right.


  • From Charleston: Take I-26 and take Exit 205A toward Summerville on Highway 78. Go to the 2nd light and turn left on Ladson Road. Go to the 4th light and turn right on Dorchester Road (Highway 642). The church is located approximately two miles on the left.


  • From the North and West: Take I-26 and exit on Exit 199A. Turn left on the Berlin G. Myers parkway (3rd light) and follow it until it dead ends. Turn left on East Carolina and then take an almost immediate right on Bacon’s Bridge Road. Go to the 4th light (Dorchester Road, Highway 642) and turn left. The church is on the right, one mile.
